Güneş Aytemur

Gunes Aytemur was born in Istanbul in 1997. He began to draw pictures and write poems at an early age.

After graduating from high school, he continued his studies at Istanbul Gelisim University, Department of Cinema and he graduated from there.

He received an award for his first short film and is still working on it. In addition to directing commercials and music videos, he also worked in motion picture.

Gunes, who formed an active career in the punk music scene of the same period, and is still continuing his work, beside that he embraced the street/underground culture of painting and continued to work in this way.

In September 2023, he took his place among the 8 painters representing Turkiye and carried through his first combined exhibition in New York.

Gunes is still actively working in the fields of painting, cinema and music.
